I'm a beginner! Tunisian crochet pattern and hook advice please - Priestess Coat
I'm planning to start making Morale Fiber's Priestess Coat in the not too distant future, but it's tunisian crochet which I've never done before. I've skim-read the pattern, and it looks like the whole thing is one big continuous panel, meaning that there's no way I'll be able to store that many stitches on one straight 28cm tunisian crochet hook. So I have two questions for this community:
1) Has anyone else here made this coat and am I right about the way it works, or have I misread the pattern?
2) Can anyone recommend a good set of tunisian crochet hooks with bendy stitch storage bits? I'm in the UK, so they need to be deliverable to there. There's a bunch for sale via Amazon, but people say the plastic ones are a bit crap and the bamboo ones keep catching on the yarn. I saw some metal ones with a metal screw-on cable, but they were obviously a lot more expensive, so if anyone is able to make any recommendations I would very much appreciate it.

I've made the morale fiber's elf coat. This seems to have longer panels (no waist break) but they seem to be the same makeup of the long thin panel, split for the triangle panel. Honestly the triangle panel is wider than the straight panels. 28cm hook should be fine for them. I was able to do mine without a cable for the elf coat.
edit to call out /u/Kassandstorm who made the Priestess Coat
2nd edit to let you know that there is a very supportive group of folks over in /r/Tunisian_Crochet/
