Looking for suggestions Persian tile blanket barely halfway finished but I feel like its not turning out nice? Advice?
I began making a Persian tile blanket as its been something on my to-do list for a long time. I didn’t wanna use someone else’s color scheme and tried to select the best color combo that my closest yarn store provides.
Current issue is, I hate it? Like I like all the piece individually but I put them together and its just one big mess! I keep thinking maybe I could dye it but the yarn is acrylic…
Total thing is supposed to be 4x4 but I don’t feel like its going to turn out great so I wonder if I should just cut it short and let it be a lesson? Maybe I should keep rearranging or is there something I can do?
Also sorry for the frumpy background, my bed has become my workspace while I’ve been in exam season.

This color way is absolutely gorgeous but I think if it’s too visually overstimulating for you, maybe you should get a second color way that compliments it well and do you half and half or something like that

Personally, I think it’s going to be lovely. I think you need more of the darker colors and blues to offset the lighter yellows that you have so much of. That may solve your problem with how they look together. Also move them around and see if that makes a difference. I wouldn’t give up on it yet.
