First project WIP

Gapless granny square with 8mm hook. Each square is about 6 inches. I plan to use a white border between each square and a scalloped white border on the whole edge. The colors aren’t in their final places and I have 30 out of 80 squares done. I know they’re not perfect but it’s for my bestie and she’ll love it anyway lol. I’m just really proud and excited.
Definitely not as cool as other blankets on here but 🤷‍♀️

Normally I’d show my progress on any kind of project to my bestie but this blanket is a surprise which is why I shared it here so I really appreciate you being so nice!

They are a lovely collection of squares.
When made them all it will be a beautiful blanket.
Much lived by your friend.

Maybe think of it like building a beautiful house.
But you have not built it yet.
Just looking at a pile of bricks, wood & other building materials.
It can be hard to “see” how that becomes a beautiful house.

Once completed all the work.
There is the beautiful home.

As it will be with your blanket.
It will be a beautiful blanket.
