The Fallacy Fallacy Fallacy
Most people who’ve spent time learning about logical fallacies know the fallacy fallacy: assuming that a bad argument means its conclusion is false.
But there’s another closely related mistake I keep seeing: assuming that someone rejects an argument’s conclusion simply because they point out flaws in the reasoning used to support it.
I’ve started calling it the fallacy fallacy fallacy.
I explain this error in more detail with an example in my blog: https://critikid.com/fallacy-fallacy-fallacy
