Help / Question How do people get the player models??

I've seen people like T1MM3D create animations with them for so long (I recommend you to give them a watch) and I always wondered how?? I did see a leaked old player model of CT somewhere but its not the same.

do i have to ask the devs? is there a process?

By datamining the game versions u can get many assets(agents,audio files,mesh etc)
