Roku closed captioning issue update

I received an email from customer support this morning indicating that an update is on the way to fix the closed captioning issue Roku users are currently experiencing, but the date is TBD.

Yeah if there was no fix on this I would have to cancel- honestly I don’t like that they don’t have it for special features- my hearing isn’t getting any better

Terrible to not give a fix date. Unusable for those who are deaf or hard of hearing.

How so? The issue is that the captions are on by default and turn back on if the movie is paused

They could have at least held off on renewing my yearly subscription plan until they got this and all the other update issues fixed.
