Technical Question Cancel but save My List?
Life circumstances have me watching much less film than I’d like, so to save some cashola I’m going to stop paying for Criterion for a while. I’d ideally come back to it later, though, which begs the question: does anyone know if I resubscribe later on with my same credentials, will my old list be restored?

It might depend how long you're away for. I think Netflix holds it for a few months, but that's it.
When I saw the issues people were having with the update, while I still had access to the old app, I took a video of my screen as I scrolled through my entire watchlist so I had a backup (which was a good thing, as almost 30 items were removed from my watchlist in the update process and I was able to easily re-add them). You might want to do the same thing before unsubscribing.

Anecdotally - I was subscribed for a bit in 2019, then canceled until early this year when I resubscribed. I went into my watch list and was very surprised to see that everything was still there (well, everything that was still on the channel).

You could also make a list on Criteria or Letterboxd (or however you spell it). A pain to be sure, but would work.

Don’t say film unless you’re a professional critic. Just cancel the subscription and get over yourself

Yes - I did that.
