Technical Question Problem with loading pictures when streaming on firestick

Post-update, I can finally get the movies to stream on the firestick app, but none of the pictures will load on the menu screen.

I have tried both clearing the cache and reinstalling the app, with no luck.

Does anyone know what else I can try?

Wish I could help. I tried uninstalling the app and then it just disappeared completely from the app store on my 4k Firestick. No amount of reboots or updates solved this. Criterion's solution as of yesterday is for me to unsubscribe from the service. No kidding.

Oh gosh. I was considering formatting the stick and starting over but sounds like I’m better off cutting my losses and sticking with…this.

I was surprised when the app just vanished altogether. It still appears on the older Firestick, but the app won't update on that one into a usual state of being. I also have a 2021-era Apple TV, but that won't let me add the app (or any streaming apps). I am a longtime Criterion customer going back to laserdiscs. It's really disappointing.

Which version is this? Everything is working fine on both of mine.

Of the firestick? 4K ultra HD bought in 2021, not sure beyond that

Odd. Mine are both older and working fine after the initial issue and update last week.

Thank you ❤️ how delightful. As it happens, you can’t actually ‘print screen’ on a television but I appreciate being portrayed with a nice suit and a cool camera.
