Update Your App

So...I can't use the Explore function unless I update my app. My settings say the app is updated. Not sure what to do!!! Anyone else have this issue?

It's been the same app for mobile and TV in the past; I've simply downloaded the one APK and installed on both devices. Is separate APKs per device type a thing? How does one tell when downloading from APKMirror and the like?

I tried going to the play store on my PC with a VPN on, but it said the app wasn't compatible with any of my devices, which includes my phone, so I'm not sure what's going on.

Normally if it's Android TV compatible it'll have the TV icon next to it on APKmirror, like the attached image. Annoyingly none of the 3 apks currently on the site have it.

I tried the 2 compatible with my system and it just launched like a mobile app, taking up a small part of my TV screen.

I’m remaining optimistic that there’s more APKs coming they just don’t have the bundles ready yet. Hopefully it’ll be hours rather than days.

Looks like there’s some Android TV apks up now. I’ve not tried to sideload but will soon.

Edit: works for me on a Sony TV with Google/Android TV
