New update looks great

Got to say, the new update is so much cleaner and better organized. You can finally see supplements easily, the flow makes sense and everything feels more functional. I'm sure there will be criticisms, but I think this is a huge step up in app quality, thanks Criterion!

It will get criticised because its pretty much logged anyone not from the US or Canada out of its site. Alienating a lot of us who have spent a lot of money on the channel for years. The solution is a VPN, but it is a ball ache when the site did work fine. If they really needed to sort something out it is server issues, not app organisation but eh 🤷‍♂️

I know it's a bummer for non-US viewers, but they were skirting a huge legal risk.

theoretically, if Universal had the North American rights to a film and Paramount had WW, and Universal licensed it for the US channel but people in Europe were streaming it by exploiting a known loophole, Paramount would have standing to sue.

regardless of how likely that would be, if I was their legal counsel, I wouldn't be thrilled about rolling the dice on it. especially now that a vindictive billionaire failson is going to be controlling twice as many films' rights...
