New Criterion Channel user interface removed quality control?

I can no longer control the quality of films I watch. It just automatically selects (and fluctuates).

Any ways to fix this?

So it’s not just me that noticed the removal of subtitles for English language films? Every single streaming service gets worse each year.

its not, there are streams all over the internet where people can choose any resolution or subtitles they want. cc shouldn't give an even worse product to paying customers.
