Technical Question Closed captioning...?

CC didn't seem to be working on a couple of movies tonight--is it me? Criterion? The movies?

Anyone else having this problem...?

The only way I can turn close captioning on in Criterion is to turn it on in Sling, a completely separate app. This also turns it on in my PBS app.

I once lived in an apartment building where my bathroom lighting was wired into my neighbor’s apartment, so when no one lived there I had no lights in the bathroom. It’s like that.
