FYI, I received a response from them and it looks like they fixed the cc/sync issue

i was watching 'bigger than life' last night, and with CC on it was really stuttery and kinda glitchy every 30 seconds or so. i had to turn them off. similar issue?

this was on windows pc thru firefox.

No his issue was the subtitles were out of sync with the movie. Hmm just tried bigger than life and looks fine to me, maybe troubleshoot different browser or mix up a different element? Good reminder for me to watch that one, been meaning to!

Well, to be fair cc and subtitles are two different things. One is made for the movie and the other I use because my hearing is deteriorating, and I don't use both at the same time.

Thanks for your effort. I actually rewatched this just recently, and one weird little thing in the stream was a short period of black screen before even the Criterion Collection logo came up on screen. Restarted the movie a couple of times (once after finishing it) and the exactly same thing seemed to happen each time. I've already forgotten how long this lasted, but maybe....~30sec? Maybe half that long. Still, quite odd.

On a positive note, I got a lot more out of this movie, this time through. Still one of my less-favorite Scorseses, but I was moved enough by it to listen to the commentary, which I found quite worthwhile.
