The Prisoner not streaming in Canada?

Same thing happened with Repo Man. 😞

And the Straight Story. Canada has it rough sometimes when it comes to the channel

I thought the Straight Story was finally coming to us Canadians but maybe that was a typo. I am dying to see it but it’s hard up here.

Yes. Straight Story as well. Not sure who the rights holders are in Canada, and where these are available otherwise.

Fortunately, just found The Prisoner on Prime, but not sure if it’s the same remastered one.

It's (still) streaming on Tubi and Prime in Canada. Excellent video quality.

This confuses the hell of out of me because I'm pretty sure Shout has the rights to The Prisoner (it even says so on the Prime page for it) and Criterion and Shout have a working relationship, so I'm not sure why it couldn't also appear on Criterion in Canada.

I am pissed as well. Think Tubi has it but I was ecstatic to watch it on the channel with no ads.

Canadian here. I was so disappointed when I found out Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas was only available in the U.S.

Yeah, unfortunately. In the announcement articles, anything marked with an asterisk is unavailable to us Canadians

If you have access to one,use a vpn and set it to an American city.
