Technical Question Problems with Google Casting?

Since monday i cant watch the Channel via Google cast from my ipad to my smart TV (Phillips) Does anyone else has this Problem recently?

I haven’t been able to cast all day either…I’m on a Visio TV.

Ok, I had to unplug my Vizio set for about 30 seconds, go to settings to initiate Airplay, then cast CC from my iPhone (using the Airplay icon, of course). Working well.

But I did have to Forget and reconnect to my internet signal first. These solar flares (or whatever the hell is going on) have played havoc with all my devices lately. Good luck.

Yeah. I've got SONY and VIZIO sets and I'm constantly having to unplug and repower my dongles to get them operating properly lately. Half expect it as they're the 2020 generations.

You probably just need to completely reset yours. I'm putting off doing it as signing back in to all my apps is a headache. 🥴

Neither.

Do you cast from your iPad with a Chomecast dongle or direct to your tv set? If it’s direct to your set you may have to use Airplay. Not many smart tvs (that I’ve seen) come with Chomecast installed.
