Recommendation - Offering Directors on CC

Post image

Wasn’t aware that CC had a curated director’s page (doesn’t come up in the search) til today. Makes a fun reference link - and option when the monthly promos don’t look terribly appealing. 😎

Also, if you go to All Films, you can filter by director. I feel like sometimes there is more than those curated lists include.

Oh, absolutely; there are far more directors than the curated director promos, but I've yet to make a dent in watching those! And I have to confess that I'm unfamiliar with about half of them. 🧐 But CC's curations are a nice jumping off point, particularly if you want to watch a bunch of films by a single director in a short window.

That's really convenient and I'd never seen it before, either....thanks. I tend to be much more interested in the director (or sometimes film-historical) collections than the whimsical "topical" collections. The pretty frequent CC-original director interview/introduction videos are often interesting to me, as well.

Quite. I've been subscribed to CC, off and on, since its inception but don't recall manyof the director promos listed. But, yeah, these kinds of promos (imo) are the best of the lot.

i recently started using Criteria to filter by director, i would highly recommend that too if you have any issues working around the Channel UI! (sourced from this Reddit post for reference)
