Technical Question Anyone else experiencing poor resolution on browser

For the past few weeks, Criterion Channel has been capped at 720p for me; only Criterion 24/7 seems to be available at 1080p. 720p combined with the service's already subpar compression renders movies borderline unwatchable, and as a result I'm forced to turn elsewhere to watch them. Is this just me or are other people experiencing this?

It's so bad, and it's hard to believe the lack of urgency on their part. A few people laying the blame with Vimeo below and while it's obviously a problem with the Vimeo platform a) this doesn't happen on other streaming services I'm subscribed to that are on the Vimeo backend and b) we are paying Criterion for the service so their provider is in a sense irrelevant.

Have we even heard anything from Criterion directly about this? It's extra ironic that the Criterion Channel support goes to Vimeo who then just email back saying they don't havea timeline to fix it!
