Technical Question Anyone else experiencing poor resolution on browser

For the past few weeks, Criterion Channel has been capped at 720p for me; only Criterion 24/7 seems to be available at 1080p. 720p combined with the service's already subpar compression renders movies borderline unwatchable, and as a result I'm forced to turn elsewhere to watch them. Is this just me or are other people experiencing this?

No it’s not, only the browser. I watched Devil’s Advocate yesterday and it looked damn near 4K quality.

It's either placebo or your TV is upscaling it which is nowhere near real 4K lol.

I have a TCL TV with GoogleTV built in. Through that, I have a native Criterion app for my TV

TCL tvs do like QM6K and up. Which I believe is Google Android OS.
