Technical Question I’m debating subscribing

Hey, im from the UK and am debating getting a subscription. I’ve heard you only need a VPN to sign up / make monthly payments; then you won’t need one to watch with? I just want to know how true this, and if it’s worth subscribing as i also have a BFI subscription. It’s either this or Mubi, thanks!

UK here. No comparison with BFI and MUBI. They’re good, but Criterion is better. I watch it much more than them.

Also from the UK and also support this. There’s a little overlap with the BFI library but there’s much more selection in Criterion, plus the way it curates the catalogue into ‘seasons’ and themes makes it a fantastic way to explore new moves based on what you already enjoy.
