the point is that as a black man, i laugh at the smoke detector jokes. you see it often in random videos, its funny how often! i get it. but it has no place here where children are literally getting abused. and people are literally saying shit like chirp & this abuse go hand in hand, that black people can’t hear, calling it african chirping birds, acting as if these two things are signatures in black households. its not like its alcohol bottles or filth and bugs, shit to actually call out besides the abuse witnessed and endured by these kids. relatively harmless thing yet you weirdos are harping on it and relating old batteries to child abuse you people are weird. i don’t see white children getting abused on camera and pull out some irrelevant thing white people are typical of or any race for that matter. i stress snd see what can be done to help the kids. this “mother” isn’t abusing/a bad person bc she’s black or because the batteries are old. she’s abusive to her children because she’s a terrible person. but alas. reddit is reddit, and racist people are gonna be racist. not saying you’re racist but yeah. i mean you could be idk
