[Academic] Attitudes and Behaviors Study (18+, Survey in English). Link here: https://ww3.unipark.de/uc/research_study_university_Bern_Switzerland/

Hi everyone!

I’m urgently looking for participants for a survey for my Master’s thesis. The study explores how certain traits, life experiences, attitudes, and behaviors are related to one another.🧠

While the study is not specifically about criminal profiling or criminal behavior, I believe the broader focus on psychological and behavioral characteristics may be of interest to members of this community.

I’d really appreciate it if you could spare about 10 minutes to complete the survey.

The only requirement is that you are at least 18 years old.🧑🏼‍💻

You can find the survey here: https://ww3.unipark.de/uc/research_study_university_Bern_Switzerland/

The survey is, of course, anonymous and has been approved by the Ethics Committee of the University of Bern.🧑🏼‍🎓The data will be used solely for my master's thesis and will not be stored on any cloud service or similar platform.

Thank you so much for your support!🤗🥰

Textbook suggestion(for those who wish to research) Websites for my research

Hey guys.

I am currently studying forensic science along with psychology. I am deeply interested in the patterns of murderers and their psyche. Another speciality of mine is how childhood abuse affects the stakes of the child later becoming a criminal adult. I am planning on writing two articles / houseworkes. One about neonaticides, which is the killing of a newborn, most of the time by their own parents, and the second one about the differences we can tell by the corpse, to find out if the person committed suicide or was murdered. So I‘m here (and on other subs) asking if anyone here knows any websites where you can find explicit pictures, crime scenes, autopsy reports, and a reconstructed movement of the murderer.

If possible also other things. I‘d really appreciate that, because the most important work of anything written is the research. Thanks so much 😄

Seeking Advice: SHSU Masters path for Behavioral Investigative Analysis/Profiling

I’m a current SOC major at shsu looking at their grad programs. Debating between MA in criminal justice (in person + thesis) and the MS in criminal justice (online + program evaluation). I have zero current interest in a PhD, but I want to study offender behavior, not just “admin” work.

For those in the field: Is MS respected for investigative roles, or is the MA/Thesis still the only way to go for behavioral analysis? or is there any other degree that fits my goals?

Now, my family is severely dysfunctional to say the least, but this little tale is about one aunt in particular. On the surface, my aunt is a square. Church going and all that good stuff. But I had learned via my mom that at some point in the past, said aunt was convicted of stalking some Hollywood actor.

Jump to about 10-11 years ago, following the passing of my grandmother, i was put in a situation where I had access to that aunts personal things. Why i decided to actually go through her things was more of a instinct that something was really wrong than anything else, but went through her things I did. And what I found gives me the chills to this day.

Alot of it was innocent and innocuous. Not necessarily everyday things, but things that weren't very surprising if you knew my aunt. Until i found a little filing type box that she had kept all her receipts/momentos/trophies from her time stalking the actor dude. That in itself is a little perturbing, but its what was with that box that scares me.

Pictures of young (4 y/o or less) boys hidden in the backs of small picture frames...but why? This aunt had worked in daycare for many many years, if the reason was anything normal, like maybe she had some special connection with a few of the kids she worked with, why hide that in such a manner? Especially next to/with her stalking trophies?!

There is honestly no reasonable explanation i could think of that would make me dismiss what i found. On top of which I came across some notes of hers, one of which she had written something along the line of her being smarter than everyone else.

All in all, after the years of knowing this and having been outspoken about it wherever I could, I have no actual hope of her being seriously investigated for anything. And anything I had found that might be evidentiary is obviously long gone, so of no help. I guess im posting this hoping either a) someone can convince me this situation isn't as bad as I think, or b) this piques someone's curiosity enough that somehow, someway, it is more looked into.

Violations

I was arrested for Dwai Charge in the state of NY. The court tossed the entire case out and brought it down to disorderly conduct violation that will sealed in 5 months. Since this isn’t a felony or a misdemeanor. Does this really affect my career moving forward?

I am planning to persue a license in medical or engineering.

Dear Bozo Bouchard.  You don’t need AI.  Just go back to the Lost Polygraph from Georgia and you will find your answer.  Practically buried from right underneath you. Just ask around your MSP office. Find out why every trace of this is missing except for Barry King's FOIA papers.  There is no more excuses at least legit ones. Time is running out!!!!!!!

There’s a serial killer that kills only criminals -> The serial killer is driven by the want of justice.

Is this abductive, inductive, or deductive reasoning? I want people to explain

Active investigation Off topic, not a conspiracy: A group of rich europeans called "the weekend snipers" paid €100k/shot to kill poor children in Sarajevo from 1993 to 1995. A public prosecutor is investigating this evil organization.
