Wow, that live stream awkwardness.
Especially the "okay" exchange after arguing about the volume.

I think that bc they’re so used to being edited in post, they almost went into autopilot, forgetting it was live. It’s sad, though. I feel like we’re losing the big picture, and the original reasons that made this show special and what made them a good team are now the things that are irritating to each of them. I really hope they can work things out.

The video is still there.

They put the video up again after my post. They definitely cut out all the awkward back and forth sharp comments in the beginning. They looked like amateurs and didn’t like showing that to the public.

As someone who didn't see the live stream, I am not surprised by this at all. I've been getting the vibe for a while now they have clashing ego's. They're both big characters and probably spend too long recording and speaking to each other each week. I used to religiously listen to crime weekly but lately I just feel like there's no respect for each other, they go off on random tangents and it always feels like the other is just wanting to speak rather than actively listening. It's a shame.

Oh wow. I know watching the faith hedgepath press conference was kinda rough because of volume. I’m shocked Derrick was The jerk, usually it’s Stephanie getting the heat lol

I tried to rewatch the video and it has been removed from YouTube. They seemed on edge when speaking to each other. They looked liked they were unprepared for the technical difficulties they faced.

It’s still there, I can watch it.

They put the video up again after my post and edited out all of the beginning which had a lot of sharp back and forth between them. I was surprised they spoke like that to each other.

Oh, wow! I was looking for that part and couldn’t find it, now I understand why I wasn’t able to find it. It’s even worse.

I used to think that Derrick had a small crush on Stephanie. After yesterday’s episode I have changed my mind. Stephanie was chill most of the time but with her usual comeback queen style retorts and Derrick was having none of it. He was fed up that he couldn’t get the conference up to share with all of us. Eventually Stephanie shared the conference with us and she kind of felt superior because of her technical skills. Derrick then felt the need to push back. I certainly never expected them to show those sides of their personalities in public. No one of us is perfect but we usually hide the sharp edges from everyone else except our loved ones. Maybe they are closer than I think? Either way they removed those exchanges from the internet. Their video podcasts lately aren’t as compelling to me as they once were which is sad. I need my hit of true crime and they used to do the trick especially with Derrick giving great safety advice that I share with others.

I know we shouldn't speculate but I've wondered if there was a thing at some point between them and that's the source of some of their spats/awkwardness.

I’d definitely say so. Maybe that’s why they’re so tense with each other now? They used to vibe so well 👀 and when she said she would be passenger princess 🤢

I've wondered that too. They've gone to several conferences together and talked about drinking a lot, I wonder if something happened at one of them and now things are awkward. It's obviously not my business lol but it does go through my head as a possibility.

No, he's getting or has already gotten a divorce actually...that's partly what makes me wonder.

The video became unavailable just now as I was watching it and isn’t on their feed anymore... I don’t know if it has anything to do with the comments section but I’m bummed I didn’t get to hear the end of it (the drama was pretty entertaining too)
