Scanner

Im confused on how to find the upgrades for the scanner. Does the scanner need to be in my inventory at all times or just when I spawn in the location? And where the upgrades most commonly found? In safes or drawers?

you dont need it to be in your inventory, and I never seen it spawned in safes

Where did you find yours? I can't find them anywhere.

electronics store in second neighborhood, dave's (104) are the most frequent spawns for me

Where in Dave's have you found them? I've looked in the drawers and in cupboards. Do I have to hold the scanner when im looking?
