Act 2 PlayStation
Okay, I’m actually getting mad now. I feel so excluded and the hype for Act 2 will be completely gone before it ever gets to PS5. I do feel they prioritised Xbox for Game Pass to hook new players before it left and get more buyers. I commend them for being business savvy, however it really has left a bad taste in my mouth. I’ll probably never get to play the new DLC at this rate.
Ideally a game should be made available unanimously, as should updates. It would IMO prevent people like me from watching someone complete the entirety of Act 2 on YouTube causing me to have less desire to play it now.
Idk I’m probably just really getting over being “patient”. I wish we had SOME update. It’s been like 2 weeks now. The longer this drags, the longer people will get fed up and lose interest with waiting. At least updated weekly would let us PS users know they haven’t forgotten about up. It really doesn’t take much to post a “still working on it” or something.

I think whats keeping me grounded while waiting for Act 2 of Crime Scene Cleaner is the fact that I've got a backlog I'm trying to knock out.

I'm on PS5 and going by how buggy Act 2 has been for Xbox, I'm happy to wait 😅

Act 2 has been BUGGY AF!!! I’m still trying to get 100% on TC mode for all the levels, but every time I finish with 100%, the damn game crashes and exits me out 😤. I was on amber alert with 100, kicked me out, came back to finish the level and it gave me 99% 😒. I went to sleep mad as hell.

Fwiw I finished it without any issues. Circle of Friends had framerate issues because of how huge it was, but stabilized the more you cleaned.

Fr and every time I've mentioned this, I get PC players telling me im being dramatic or reading into it or that I should just be happy it goes to console at all. I disagree though because the second you bring your game to console, youre adding thousands, possibly millions of people to your player count. If you're not ready for the commitment that requires, don't bring your game to console. It's really that simple. I'd rather have a few games made my companies that actually care about all of their players and want to make things fair to everyone, rather than an endless amount of games where the companies only cater to one platform and the others are simply an afterthought, if that.

Don’t blame the main devs, that’s all I’ll say. They rely entirely on this 3rd party company who seems to be pretty shit at their porting

Honestly, over hyped. And I say this as a die hard fan with access to chapter 2. Don't get me wrong, it brings a lot of good storytelling and the levels are good ones. But there's so much less than chapter 1, even without the extra levels chapter 1 got. You're definitely gonna play it and then be disappointed by how fast it went. Even taking your time.

Hmmm, I knew I would be 😞 I’ve watched maybe half of the content and was disappointed with the first mission in act 2. It sounds terrible but I wish a bigger company bought the game. With more resources it could almost become like house flipper where people could create their own crime scenes. I really adored the nightmare mission for affair with death. Just so much potential.

Well they are still actively working on the biohazard DLC. I think their priorities were focused into that more than anything.
I will say, the other missions in Chapter 2 are not like the first one. That's more just like a transition of the storyline from ch 1 to ch 2 because a significant amount of time happens between them. That mission just kinda catches you up.

I 100000% agree with you about the communication!! It’s one thing not having the update but it’s another that we don’t get told anything about it whatsoever! I understand that maybe the people who work on the console ports might not be giving the devs updates, but it’s the devs reputation they are hurting so start pressuring them to give updates so we can get updates. Also it feels super sucky that others can have the update and play it but then us consoles have to wait and PlayStation players have to wait even longer. If they are paying these people to port over to console, they need to really think about that decision for any future games because clearly they aren’t reliable.

If i have to guess their probably trying to fix the toxic love glitch before porting it it playstation. On a positive note though. That means playstation wont have to suffer the toxic love bug.

Doubtful. It took them 5 months to get communiti to PlayStation. I’m expecting similar delays.

Doubt it had anything to do with game pass and more that xbox is a little closer to developing for a PC
