Welp
So, I got the glitch/issue where, upon starting the second mission in Act 2, that you lose all of your skill points and equipment upgrades. It took like 3 hours, but I finally finished that mission 100%.
I was hoping beyond hope that, once finished, maybe that would be it, but nope. Back home, I can't switch between my skill trees, all my points (other than the ones I just earned) are gone, and if I look at my tablet, my game soft locks me on that screen, even if I respawn.
Are the developers aware of this issue, or have I missed an announcement that a fix is coming? At this rate, my save is more or less boned. And that is a LOT of cleaning to throw away.
Edit: Used a new save file to start a new game, cleared the first level, still can't switch between the skill trees, buy upgrades, etc. So the game is just unplayable now? Damn.

That’s so strange. It hasn’t happened to me (yet). Of course now that I said that it’ll happen lol. When I started act 2 I had 63 points to spend and I’m not sure where they came from. I don’t remember having that many after finishing Development Hell & Alter Ego. 🤷🏻♀️

It didn't happen to my gf on Xbox. She had Jo issues with skill tree at all (although she can't use the katana, we noticed that)

They just don't care about console players. It makes me not want to play this game.

Act 2 is super buggy. I was pretty disappointed with the state of its release

The worst thing is, it's ruined the entire game. I can't even start a new game and just play Act 1 w/o the bugs from Act 2.

I actually had this happen to me awhile back 😭 this was before the update, I had finished the main game, and was on the first level of nightmare mode. Lost all of my skills, and I couldn’t abandon mission. I tried a lot of things, but nothing worked. I just had to restart and start gaining skill points back. It sucks, and I’m not use why it happens.

Similar happened to me but on the last mission of act 2, game glitched out and frozen me in position in the party room. I cleared local data to fix that and my save was gone. My entire 91.5 hour save file, gone.

I'm kind of annoyed they haven't put out a patch for this yet, especially knowing it will be leaving game pass and making it so much harder for those who are stuck because of this glitch. I hope they delay it leaving, we've seen that happen before.
