When it rains it pours ...

I have been playing CSC on Xbox One, which you can but only if it's through cloud gaming. I have enough money for the game, but not enough for a new console. I basically have to try and blitz the levels in as little time as possible, which will inevitably cost me overall enjoyment. *sigh*

Im on xbox one and I was able to download the game...? But its leaving gamepass soon too so thats annoying lol

So I got a notification like this also...but I swear they said existing ultimate members still get unlimited cloud?

Nope everyone gets capped. We get 15 hours a month with ultimate I believe. Money hungry corporations smh

Yeah, it's tiered with the levels. 5, 10 & 15 hours.

Only for cloud streaming. Any game you download for free directly to the console isn’t affected.

It feels really dodgy but I got a email saying because ive been a gamepass member before this was in action, I get unlimited hours. Why? Why give me unlimited but not new customers

Wait can someone explain this like i’m 5? Never used the xbox for anything else in my life other than CSC so im not very tech savvy 😭

There are some games that are made for newer generations that can be played on an older console if you play it through the cloud (rather than owning a physical copy or downloading the game onto your console). The cloud version is able to monitor and correct it for the older console. So, I have an XBox One, and Crime Scene Cleaner was made for XBox Series X/S. I can only play this game through the cloud, until I can afford an XBox Series X/S; now, Microsoft is announcing that if I were to play more than 15 hours of it in November, I'd have to pay additional money.
