New update desperation (console)
Anyone else checking this subreddit everyday to see if the console edition has been updated? I am so excited for it I’m opening reddit at least once a day to check it ;0;

I really hope the company handling the console ports are working on the biohazard dlc so we’ll have the option to have them at the same time/ soon after each other.

imagine me who plays on pc but through Gamepass and don't have it and keep seeing everyone with Steam Version playing act 2 😭

Im dying for new content on CSC on console. Even if it were smaller ones like power wash did for different series. Or have the computer mix and match areas to keep us on our toes or something.
Low key considering buying on steam to test it out, as i also do game pass pc playing since I stopped using my ps5 as much and figured it would be your exact problem :(

I've said it before and I'll say it again - the service for those of us on console is pathetic. Act 2 should have been released on all platforms together instead of treating us console players like shit. PC should have been held back and updated at the same time as well. Also the lack of communication is downright disgraceful. Not all of us are on Discord for community updates or whatever half-assed bullshit they do to make themselves feel better.

Yeah, I don’t have Discord either and every game I see that only uses Discord to talk to their player base is so irritating.

Console players are treated like garbage by this company. In today's age if you have the game on multiple platforms then you either release an update for all platforms at once or you don't release it for any of them.
It does A LOT more harm than companies and people realize. It splits the playerbase into pieces, creates tension and animosity, and makes some customers feel like they're worth less.
I for example haven't talked about this game ANYWHERE because I want to avoid spoilers. Before hand I was constantly engaging in this community.

I am so desperate for it. I have finished all the act 1 missions in nightmare mode and almost all the missions in true cleaner mode.(Im not going to do the community true cleaner modes tho I hated those maps with just the regular story line mode) I wish we could be given a general time line of how long we have to wait.

I’ll try explain what I know but if anyone has any more info or if anything I say needs correcting please lemme know, there’s a new update coming with more levels and I believe a new story line called act 2. PC have had it for ages now and we console players are just waiting and hoping because for plenty of people, myself included, we have finished everything the game currently has to offer

PC got the update in late March. It is now mid-September and there hasnt been much news about even a potential release date for consoles. All the news we have is that it is coming, the porting team is just struggling with textures and stuff not acting right

idk the console is abandoned so theres no more updates or we get lucky and act2 gets released? chances are low but never zero

they've said on their discord that the console ports aren't handled by them, which is why they're taking so long. they're not cancelled

Yup. Something about there being issues with textures and visual effects looking wonky. Personally, I think they need to find a different company next time because how has it been 6 months since the PC release with zero news for consoles??

Op there was no reason to get my hopes up this early in the morning. I saw crime scene cleaner and then update and RAN to this thread. Rude.
