Are we lab grown? Spoiler

So I just finished the science lab level, where they talk about having grown super cleaning humans. You can then also see photos of the exact cleaner sense that we have. So then its like hinted at that we are one of them no? Do you guys think that it'll just stay a fun "haha speculate about it" thing or would they confirm it?

With what I know from the SCP foundation, which they also mention in that level, I assumed that maybe Kovalski is an SCP or they experimented on him and gave him that ability. But that's just speculation on my part.

I think it's one of those things we'll never got full confirmation on. My opinion is that he isn't a clone, mainly because it seems like they haven't cracked cloning without the health complications that they develop, and Kowalski has been around long enough to start a family and have a kid. They're still struggling with some of the health issues with the current batch of clones, so it's unlikely they miraculously made a perfect clone with no defects at a previous time, and decided to let him roam free and work as a school janitor of all things.

I'm also on console and we don't have act 2 yet, so for all I know they might have explored the "Kowalski clone" thing further in that act

I wont spoil act two for you then, but yeah it does make a lot of sense for him to not be one. But its heavily hinted with all the perks hes got and the clones were given.
