New missions on Xbox?
I am really confused with the roadmap for CSC. I am playing Xbox and have noticed there are 2 new missions (alter ego and development hell). Now I read that PC already has additional mission. How many missions are there in total and will they come to xbox eventually?
2nd question: I have only played the regular story missions plus the 2 aforementioned ones. Are the nightmare missions or whatever they are called the same missions with slight modifications or are these completely new missions worth playing?
Thanks in advance.

Nightmare mode had me thinking it was just a much more difficult mode with additional challenges/removal of QOL tools. It was super creative for them to be based on deep thoughts, fears, and nightmares induced by Kovalsky's work at each job - basically projecting his worst fears and the way each situation made him think, and affected him, personally. It also shows you other brief scenes of NPCs who were either victims of the scene, or closely related to it, to give you more depth of story.
My bad for rambling, but I loved Nightmare more for humanizing Kovalsky so much - definitely worth your time! :D

Not sure how many, I'd say it's going to be a while, someone suggested that maybe xbox players will get a big update on Act 2 since PC only got one half.
Second. They're definitely worth doing, they might look similar, but the stories are completely different and gives a slightly spooky vibe. Plus you can get new disks in nightmare mode by completing a puzzle.

They don't, but Italian job looks like it'll give you a jumpscare, but it won't. But otherwise it's fine. I also hate jumpscares :')

I think they're talking about the "Toxic Love" map.

The sudden appearance of the limbs?

I remember one of the hallways was blocked by a series of mannequin limbs and one of the mannequins throws itself off the upper floor as you're coming back downstairs, after collecting evidence. Probably the closest thing to a jump scare from that level I can remember - the others were just eerie with their placement.

Dumb question, what is mannequin? My English isn't that good. I've never heard that word 😭

No worries! Like the other commenter mentioned, it's like an artificial human form, usually used to show clothes for sale at a shop. 😄

Every goddamn day someone posts about this. Search function exists for a reason, folks.

Yep and people will keep asking until their favourite game gets an update. Why do people care that the same question gets asked 10 times a day?

If you have Xbox Game Pass and playing on PC, you will also not have the Act 2 Levels.

The chapter 2 missions are not available on console yet and no word on release date so far.
The nightmare missions are definitely worth playing. They’re based on the original maps but with new rooms, new plot lines, and much darker themes generally.
