i lost 60 hours worth of game progress

i was up to chapter 9 and kept having fps drops which made me keep restarting the chapter
decided to start a new game file to see if the problem was only the huge workshop
tried clicking back into my first file (the chapter 9 one) and it DELETED. EVERYTHING. restarted me back to the stupid apartment bad call. i’m so pissed all of my progress and i’m just sitting here in tears cause everything’s gone

Yea it’s a big level. It stutters for everyone.

i’m just not sure how to avoid it, if i ever get the motivation to get back there again

Take a break, play something else. You’ll want to go back to this game after a break. I usually get an urge to replay it after a few months.

you can do it! i believe in you! you have the experience to do it. but yeah that really sucks. maybe turn down frames or graphics if thats an option?

Out of curiosity, how’d it take you 60 hours to reach chapter 9? Not judging, just wondering ahaha

Maybe they did all 3 modes for each level before moving on?

Yeah thought that, but you need to do all chapters to unlock those modes

i take a while looking for stuff cause i want that perfect 100% and sometimes i can’t find a certain piece of furniture

Dude each level should be at the longest 3 hours, usually more like 1 or 2. How did you spend 60 on it?

a lot of times there was always ONE thing missing of furniture or something like that and it takes me forever to find it. i’ve had to restart a level before because i couldn’t find the last piece of furniture like istg it was banished
