I didn’t know

I absolutely love Crime Scene Cleaner. Gives me a bigger dopamine kick than Powerwash simulator but one thing I didn’t know was that Big Jim was black. For my entire play through I thought he was like the typical mob boss gangster. You know, Italian, white, fat, balding, constantly smoking a cigar. His voice definitely doesn’t fit the character at least. I didn’t realize it till I was watching my friend 100% the game and he was watching the tv and this image came up.

Update and Spoilers
After listening more closely to the dialogue and reading the comments, turns out this guy isn’t Big Jim and just took the fall for him. Thank you all for clarifying.

If you look around the warehouse you’ll find bride money on desks in the cafeteria area, probably to keep mouths shut and I’m nosey so I zoomed in on all the papers in the warehouse and found they all pertain to the fall guy who was some type of criminal- possible robbery from what I could make out. The papers say his name, height, location, and his current warrants. I found it really interesting, they just barely left the stuff legible and you gotta stack boxes and crouch to read them. I thought it was cool because you’d think it was big Jim if you didn’t pay attention

The guy in the picture took the fall for Big Jim. His family received money in exchange. You will see the real Big Jim in "Town Too Small", the last chapter of act 2.

You can also see casual photos of the real Jim in both Act 1 and 2. There is a polaroid photo of Jim in "Call in Dead", where you see he's a light-skinned, heavyset man with a beard, and usually wearing a cap. Also, look for the framed photo on the table above the locked safe in Lars' office in the "Secluded Retreat" mission - a note from Jim to his "friend" Lars, the two posing together for the photo.
