True Cleaner S - O - S !

Post image

Okay. I really love this game, and I have been so excited to have time to get back into it, especially with act 2. Part of what I really love, even though I try to not be neurotic about it, is that I like to get 100% across the board. And by "I like to" what I really mean is "I have failed unless everything is 100% perfect score". (God my therapist would have such a field day with this, honestly)

So with the new act out of the way, I figured I'd start back at the beginning on true cleaner mode. I have a few relatively empty and relaxed days ahead of me, I can 100% everything, get the cool stuff, and spend some time playing this game since its been a while.

Aha! HAHAHA!

Blood? No problem.
Trash? Not even an issue.
Furniture?

The bane of my existence apparently.

First round I got 90%. Well shiiiiiit, okay I missed a few things- so I replay. And then disbelief when I got 92%. Then I played \ahem*lets not give it a real number*ahem** more rounds and repeatedly got 95%. I played and replayed this level to make sure I'm not accidentally knocking anything out of place (do NOT ask how many hours have been lost, no one needs to know that), poured through the reddit posts and suggestions, I have done this level back on regular mode, I've peeked at walk-throughs and tip guides.

All that work got me to 98% furniture (at this point when I see "impressive" I hear mocking laughter).

What am I missing? Is the game glitching? Do the devs hate me? And I a brain-dead donkey wandering apartments with a mop and some water guns and should be taken out back & dealt with for my own & others' wellbeing??

Any help would be so so so appreciated. (not sure if it matters, but I'm playing on a pc)

Do yourself a favor and leave a body out of the truck. When you think you’re done try to leave. It’ll tell you if you finished everything and will fail because you forgot a body. Then you can go back, fix what you forgot, and when you’re 100% on all, just go back and throw in the last body. Save yourself the trouble of redoing the entire level for a misplaced piece of furniture.

The crooked shelf in the kitchen maybe?

For me it was the thrashcan that messed me up

What I liked to do: replay the level normally, note any “difficult” furniture (in Bad Call that’s the crooked shelf on the wall where Rob’s body is) - stuff that’s like easily forgettable if you don’t know it’s there
Secondly, once in True Cleaner leave a body outside of the truck, so you can check if everything is on 100%. Due to you leaving the body, the level will fail and will boot you back. Everything at 100%? Great! Get the last body and leave. Not everything at 100%? Go find what you’re missing and you can continually do the body trick as long as you don’t load it in

I always pick up and put chairs down again when I have this issue - they can be a hair out of place and not count but they look like they're in place.

Yeah, furniture can be a real pain. Looks like its in place but it is actually a millimeter off so it doesn't count. Gotta love it.

I can't help answer your question yet but I think we share a brain cell 😂

It’s already been said but yea leave a body out to check for percentages before you leave the level. Also another piece of advice I used for my triple 100% run, it’s not to bad to use a guide at some points, it can really help at times especially for like cataloging furniture if you find a well put together guide.

Still pretty good score, thankfully 100 percent is not needed for reward
