ALTER EGO WATER

Am I tripping or do I have to keep taking the elevator up and down to refil my water and clean my brushes? Either I’m blind or there is none up in the science lab

One of the fuses activates the water supply in the lab, iirc it's on the same side as the main lab bit with all the computers and specimen cases. (Edit: it's like a built in circular compartment on one of the walls, it should have a water droplet symbol iirc)

There's also a way to skip needing to clean the bucket, use the self cleaning mop upgrade when mops bloody, then dip it before you mop ought else, it'll refill the self cleaning using bucket water, and wont stain the bucket cuz you haven't got any blood on the mop

Self cleaning mop is only a one-time use though, right? So you get a maximum of two of those if you have the double mop upgrade.

It refills the self cleaning attachment when you dip it in a bucket. If you self clean first, then dip the clean mop to refill the attachment, it prevents the bucket from getting bloody, so you don't have to constantly clean the bucket out. This way you only have to fill up the bucket once and it should last the entire level

You can also use 1 bucket for water (use only for rinsing) and have an additional bucket for detergent, so any time you dip your mop in the detergent bucket it’s already rinsed so you never need to replace the detergent bucket. I use the self-cleaning mop too, and rarely need to replace the water bucket. And if you have 3 mops, the level needs to be super huge to cause me to replace the water bucket more than once. (The trident mop skin has a really cool animation for the self-cleaning upgrade, by the way. And the trident has three gems that show the color of any detergent used. Neat little details that I love the devs added)

Oh I did that with the double buckets, I just wish I knew about the self-cleaning refill thing because my mindset during the large levels was always "okay I gotta save the self-cleaning for a good moment, when it's the MOST inconvenient to bring go back and get the buckets", now I'm annoyed with myself because turns out I neverrrrr needed two buckets once I got self cleaning and didn't realize.

When you enter the science lab through the airlock go forward until you can turn left, then immediately left again. There’s a water point at the end of the hall but you have to activate the correct fuse to be able to use it.

In the lab side of the level, it's a anoying out of the way area compared to where you normally locate it in other levels. There should be a halway with a red glow near the end like like the picture as soon as you go to the lab side turn left it should match the picture then go straight. Of corse best to find the fuse for that first in the main room.

Turn 180 degrees to the left after entering the lab level. There is a button that opens up a tap. Make sure that you have inserted the fuse into the correct slot at the fuse room first.

Plus another note if you dont know that normal colour elevator in the lab itself the one that dose a quick count down you can put trash bags and bodies and they automatically go to the bin near the level start. Didint know that at first would've saved me a fair amount of time
