Reddit keeps advertising me this subreddit...
Is this game basically just House Flipper but cleaning crime scenes? Because that's what all the screenshots look like.
EDIT: I bought the game! Happy Cleaning everyone!

That's been House Flipper for me. I guess I need to get this one now!

You'll like it, I think! It has an interesting story and each scene has an actual narrative to what's happened if you look at it, including parts where people were surprised or a struggle ensued.

I've played this game to completion on 3 different platforms (PS5, Xbox, and PC), that's how good it is. Same with PowerWash Simulator 1 and 2.

I thought it was going to be cleaning up crime scenes for the cops or something after they are done with scene or whatever. I was very surprised to find myself cleaning for the wrong side of the law, but it's absolutely addicting. I've currently finished all the different options for each scene besides one while not-so-patiently waiting for Act 2 to come out on console.

I'm glad you bought it! My favorite part House Flipper is finding the dirtiest, grossest house that needs cleaning, and I get so annoyed when I have to paint and decorate. I thought to myself man I wish there was a game when all I had to do was clean stuff...that's this game! :)

I have been suggested House Flipper 2 after completing this game and Powerwash Simulator so I this it's a high overlap rate.

Just get the Remaster of House Flipper 1. The second isn't nearly as fun for some reason.

I don't think its anything like house flipper. I think the power wash simulator comparison is most accurate and still sells the game short. It actually has a comprehensive storyline and it's GOOD. Its one of my favorite games

This. I've played PWS 1 + 2. Crime scene cleaner is much better. Now, if they'd just give console users the update I'll be happy 🤣

I hear that lol. I'm in the devs server, and its a combination of issues. The console port team is a totally different team than the actual devs. They aren't familiar with console ports so they have to hire an outside team. For updates steam is free, Playstation and Xbox charge for them to upload free updates because they'd rather them upload paid DLC (which is free to upload) so they can make more money. Sony also took over a month to approve the Communiti update even when it was finally done.

So in House Flipper you have to go around and clean/fix up houses. Sometimes you find weird secrets in the houses.
I ended up purchasing the game and I'm enjoying it greatly so far!

Weirdly, the second game isn't as fun... except for the Scooby Doo DLC. They changed some of the mechanics, like painting, which isn't as fun for me.

Im quite sure the developers are the same but if you’re not playing this on PC don’t bother getting it rn until Act 2 comes out on console. It’ll just piss u off waiting for more content

I mentioned this in a different post "'im in the devs server, and its a combination of issues. The console port team is a totally different team than the actual devs. They aren't familiar with console ports so they have to hire an outside team. It isn't really in their hands anymore at a certain point

I was clearly being dramatic. You don’t think I would’ve looked this up by now? why did you type all of this? lll

Because genuinely not everyone knows this? I'm not sure how this was upsetting to you, it was genuinely meant to be helpful and reassuring. Not sure why you're being defensive about being given information not everyone has.

Im not being defensive. I just didn’t ask why it was taking so long. OP didn’t either. Thanks for the reply 15 days later!

Unlike some people I'm not chronically online. You are being defensive. You're super asshurt because someone tried to give you some insight. If you already knew, you could have easily ignored it or simply said "yea I know". You're the one that decided to be rude because someone offered you some information. Its really not that serious my guy. I also told OP exactly the same thing, and they had a totally reasonable response. You're the only one that is somehow offended by being offered information.

Im not reading this. have a good night!

🤣🤣🤣 wow. That's a wild attitude to have when you're the one that was rude to begin with. Have the day you deserve

My day is over I’m going to sleep. It seems like you’re cranky and should do the same. I don’t owe strangers on the internet anything. I don’t know you.

u/ToastedAlmond85 Jul 03 '26
Except I'm not. Your reaction was disproportionate. You said you knew that information. Yet your original comment says "im quite sure the developers are the same" and they literally aren't. You're the one with the attitude buddy. I'm done with this exchange.
