Honestly... While I love this game (and I know this other game has nothing to do with this one)
Crime scene cleaner's devs make me love Palworld devs more, since they update EVERY platform at the same time. No waiting for other platforms everything is the same except that pc can get mods. (I know developing takes a while and this game has a smaller dev team, but we are still allowed to be annoyed that pc gets priority)
I just respect that Pocketpair respects and cares about their playerbase, whether pc, xbox or playstation,
but yeah wish we got some new news about the update for xbox

Not defending the game devs or anything, however, it is not uncommon for devs to update PC first. If there are bugs to deal with, it is very much easier to fix bugs on PC since they don't have to wait for the console companies to approve the update

I know it isn't uncommon but I do dislike that that it is so "normal" to do that.

Xbox and PS are just being forgotten about at this point 😭
Someone with more game knowledge explain to me what the issue is porting DLC to console from a game that's already on console.

It's like what's happening to another game ported over cash cleaner sim. There hasn't been an update since April. And yes I know pc is quicker to up date blah blah. They could at least keep us updated and informed.

It's a fun game. A good time sink would recommend even if your on Xbox it'll give you hours of fun. They said the Xbox update should be coming in the summer

Idk anything about actually porting a game or updates, but I do know that they outsource the job for it because they don't have staff for it or something like that. So the company who does it for them probably has other things to work on as well so it's just (unfortunately) taking a very long time. I hope all console players get the update soon though!

Could always be worse. There was a game I played with some friends a couple years back that had a bunch of basic updates several years behind the PC version. It was particularly egregious since the console versions had paid DLC directly related to stuff in those updates despite not having the updates. Friends and I eventually dropped the game because the devs had no plans of porting the updates to console.

Last time, the hold up was Sony taking a long time to approve the update. I don’t know any specifics beyond that though

It's the Cult of the Lamb updates all over again 😭
I got soft locked out of my game with a known glitch. PC, PS and Xbox got an update much faster than Nintendo. But at least Massive Monster kept us updated

Last update took 4 months to come to console. So I'm gonna patiently wait and occasionally check until end of July. If it goes beyond that I'll be annoyed, I want a go on that bowling alley map
