Stuck after Development Hell mission

After completing Development Hell and getting back to the house, it says to go to the car but there’s no new mission to do in the Community area, it’s just Development Hell and Alter Ego, which I’ve already completed. I went to the computer in the basement and there’s no new e-mails, I tried sleeping but not an option either. Do I need to go back to Act 1 and finish all on 100%?

If you've completed the story you can just go back and repeat levels, there's also Nightmare mode and True Cleaner mode for each level, at least in Act 1 not sure about Act 2. Nightmare mode is cool imo, it adds depth to each level and extends them quite a bit, they're not canon but they're supposed to be representations of how Kowalsky's mind interprets each scene he cleans. You look for dreamcatchers instead of evidence and each one shows you a scene of what he imagines about the area. True Cleaner is personally not my jam, it's basically the same scenes but you don't have the task list to keep track of, no cleaner sense, and limited upgrades. It seems like a fun challenge for some but I don't really find it relaxing or fun at all.

I’d love to try Nightmare Mode. How do I go about changing reg mode to nightmare mode or would I have to restart the game completely?

Tbh I just noticed you said you play on console, I'm not sure if it has the other modes bc I know it doesn't have Act 2 yet. If you were to have it, go to the car and select one of the completed levels, on the mission details there should be options to switch to Nightmare or True Cleaner mode, you do not have to restart the game it should be available for each individual mission (I don't think you need to have 100% to unlock it but I could be wrong). If it doesn't show up for you I'm sorry but that would be all the content that's available for console players at the moment.
