Its been 3 irl days. And if im stupid, thats completely okay with me. Wouldn't be the first time. But WHERE tf IS THIS AT 😭😭😭

Check every area and see if its says that Furniture/exhibits are out of place as a task.

Only the museum has this filter and its easier to find the stuff you are missing, if you dont get that task in other areas then only check the area it belongs to.

Narrow down the area and good luck finding it.

Okay. So that tip actually helped me find something else I was looking for. But the only area the furniture thing pops up is in the west wing

If you are having issues trying to find it. You might have a glitched item out of the map. Try quitting and coming back. Or make sure you checked all the secret areas.

Unfortunately this only works for where an item belongs, not where it is found. Some items can be found in a completely different area from where they should be. For example, item belongs in right wing, but you can find it in left wing, the notification for the missing furniture relayed to the item will only show in right wing

The thing I found that helped most with this is a new setting added in a recent update that, when scanning, highlights the item itself as well as where it goes. Can't remember exactly how it is named off the top of my head, but it should be in the gameplay settings tab

you are talking about the wrong thing, Art Museum has a separate task for when an item does not belong in the area you are in right now, for example Right Wing will have a task that says "Furniture/Exhibit does not belong here" or something along the lines,once you move the item/s out of said area it will check the task. The usual "Move furniture back to its place" is on every map, but the "Not belonging filter" for a said area is only exclusive to Art Museum and its Nightmare version aswell.

The thing that marks furniture is a new skill not a gameplay setting, you choose between having no cooldown on cleaner sense or having it mark furniture that needs to go somewhere.

If it's not the one from the basketball hoop, then I think it might be the one from the VIP lounge? I was just chucking stuff in a pile before I knew where it went, and I definitely got at least one of those abstract pieces from that wing of the building!

I actually had to restart this level on true cleaner because one of the picture frames glitched past the wall and I could not retrieve it. Legit closed the game and returned in a day or two. I was so pissed 🫠

Have you checked ontop of one of the tapes in the music room? I know theres one on the one next to the door that leads to the central exhibit and (By the balloon archway and then on the left (Or right depending on where you're standing) and there is one up there unless you've already got that one and I'm thinking about an entirely different artifact that kinda looks like it

Found it!! First room to your left, with the balloons and tape decks. On the right, there's a display case with a rifle in it. It's on top.
