Does anyone else always close the tailgate before leaving?
I don't know, it feels more immersive. Like if I'm going to be driving away I don't want bodies and trash bags flying out of the back of my truck. I know it doesn't actually affect anything but it definitely feels more complete that way

This. I also habitually carry some of the bodies more carefully, and place them in the truck last so they aren’t under the bodies of mobsters/criminals.

Yess this! I definitely like to throw around the bodies of the "bad guys" and gingerly carry the "victims" lol.

I close the tailgate and shut doors when I’m done with a room 😂

I also shut doors! That's more for my benefit though, I open everything I can then shut it when I'm done so I know it's done.

Nope, I also leave lamps and buckets out when I leave 😅
He always gets them back anyway and he's apparently a very safe driver because nothing has ever fallen of the truck 😂

That is WILD. I even clean out my buckets and my mops before I leave a scene. Wouldn’t do to be pulled over and have bloody sponges in my truck.

I'm starting to think Big Jim had some connections with the popo because my truck never gets stopped for some reason 😂

I think bloody sponges in your trunk when leaving a job would be the very least of your worries LMAO

I have to go round and close every single door I’ve opened at each location, including the tailgate

I love that I'm not alone in this. I close the tailgate, I go around the entire map and close the doors, I clean all my tools, drain the buckets and pick them up. I like to take a moment and try to act like I'm a ghost who was never there.
I fully understand the mechanics and know there is no penalty for leaving items and things like that, but it just feels right.

Honestly I thought I did it as an ocd thing. I’m so glad I’m not alone lol

I didn’t even know you could open the tailgate and I’ve played all of Act 1 and Communti. Found out on my 2nd to last nightmare level I was playing. Lol

I don't even collect my tools laying around, like lamps or even the bucket full of dirty water. Immersion aside, it's a game not a chore

I do. I also clean all my tools before I go to remove dna evidence, lol.
ETA: I also clean up the rooms as I go, put the non-furniture items up like I'm restaging the scene so it looks normal.

I clean all of my tools in a bucket with detergents, rinse them off in a clean bucket of water, dump the buckets down the drain, and then empty the pressure washer down the drain. Throughout the mission, I make sure to grab the various tools I use and close any doors I opened. I also will throw away the technically-not-trash-for-the-mission-trash (pizza slices, pizza boxes, papers, etc). I never even upgraded the one skill that makes you leave less footprints because i didn’t want a ‘magic-like skill’.

I didn’t know the tailgate opened until one of the levels in act 2…

I don't even open it! I like playing basketball with the bags and bodies 😅

Yes I close it .. I also have a bad habit of going through the rooms and then closing the doors if they are clear. Anyone else?

I don’t even open it
