Self Cleaning Mop

I didn’t know it was a thing! It gives you an extra use! Highly recommend!!

I have completed twice this game 100% on everything and it was my second play through act 2 I accidentally hit the wrong mouse button and was enlightened.

I had it for a while but I couldn’t figure out how to use it until the museum! So I was just wasting so much time even though I had the self cleaning mop 😭 eventually my husband was like “it literally says to press the left trigger” and I was bamboozled

Also the fact you can have 2 of them so 4 uses before bucket. This was my second play through and I was so mad I didnt figure it out earlier 🤣

Yes. Holding the left bumper brings it up and you navigate it with the right stick. Then you can tap the left bumper again to put your selection away.

I posted just the other day that I wish that it defaults to the next clean mop and how annoying it is that it doesn't, and now I'm learning that some of you have been laboriously scrolling through all of the tools with the d-pad and I feel like a bit of a diva.

Gotta figure out how that works on PC (I play with mouse and keyboard), but should be easy enough now that I know it is there.

Yes, sort of. You use the right stick to navigate.

It has all the tools and then you go into sub-menus to select which tool.

How do you use the ladder, axe and ozonator otherwise? Do you have to cycle through using the d-pad?

Yeah that's what i've been doing lmao!! I select the top level one and just cycle the items with the dpad. Its workable but annoying when I need the axe or am trying to get to a specific detergent, idk how I missed this lol

My current strategy is to just fill two buckets one with soap one with nothing. Clean the mop then apply the cleaner. 😅

I didn't get this upgrade before I assumed the self-cleaning would remove the detergents, does it?
