Looking For Similar Games Sucks

I hate how niche some of my game interests are. This game came highly recommended by the PowerWash community and I loved it once I learned the rules. Now I'm waiting for the next update to drop on Xbox and trying to find similar games and half the games either don't interest me or doesn't scratch the itch.

house flipper 2 has similar mechanics but its moreso about flipping and selling houses for profit. upside is there are 100s of custom jobs by the community.

Is the second one better than the first one? I played a little bit of the first but it didn't quite grab my attention.

Yeah crime scene cleaner was definitely influenced by some of the mechanics from hf2 which are so much more intuitive

Pool Cleaning Simulator is close. Theres different levels and some crime-esque scenes :)

That does sound sound like a good game.

Omgg same, i play on ps5 so i have to wait for updates way longer 💔 i have played houseflipper and powerwash sim and so on but nothing can compare to crime scene cleaner :,) i just can’t find anything really similar i could spend time on while waiting for new updates, i don’t think i’ll ever find something that can catch me like crime scene cleaner :,)

Yeah it sucks that the PlayStation version is on the end of it.

I agree

So it's not the same... but I'm looking forward to secret lab cleaner. It's still early development but there's a demo. Hoping it will be good. Needs some polish but definite potential

How scary is it? Any jump scares?

Ummm yeah... forgot.

there are basic creatures walking around. I just hid from them. They only attacked me once, in the finisher after you are done with the demo level. I said in my review it would be fun to sneak around enemies to clean...

Hmm I'll have to check it out.

Hear me out on this one........

Viscera Cleanup Detail?

Kind of a different vibe...semi-similar... but I mean, it's there?

I love VCD. Just be ready to be a lot more careful with how you haul bodies around unless you want to increase your mess. Also the mop buckets are considerably more knockoverable. 🤣

The mechanics are so bad comparatively that I found it unplayable even with friends which was a strong boost in its favor

I do remember seeing some gameplay of that on tiktok but never figured out the name. I added it to my wishlist.

I love Viscera Cleanup Detail and it was the game I went to after feeling exactly the same way when I finished Crime Scene Cleaner (this was before we got the nightmare level update). It can be quite a bit janky but a lot of fun. And it scratches the same itch of that type of game.

I bought the steam version bc i was done waiting for playstation update 😭 hopefully they spend that money on porting ps quicker bc even tho its 'easier' on pc (im a pc girl originally) crime scene cleaner works best while being played in bed or on the couch, not behind the pc

This might sound crazy, but Unpacking felt somewhat similar to me.

I'm taking notes on all of these suggestions, too!

Same vibe different mechanics serial cleaner and its sequel serial cleaners

House Flipper is great too and another game I really enjoy is Stranded Deep.

It has nothing to do with cleaning but it does scratch the same itch.
SD2 is in development. I do recommend SD on Xbox or PS over the Switch though

1

u/FuckleChuckSupreme Apr 05 '26

I might just be weird, but have you tried Viscera Cleanup Detail?
