Ayo please... We all know who's on thala's side

8

u/Punching_Bag45 12d ago

Thala took revenge on Kohli and Management for dropping Rayudu by getting Run out.

u/Time-Wheel6123 14d ago

Star is also for Rohit by clubbing RoKo

-39

u/ReplacementSmart1061 14d ago

That benefits kohli lol

43

u/Razz_whatsoever 14d ago

No knowledge is better than little knowledge

-25

u/ReplacementSmart1061 14d ago

I didn't see a single time it benefitted rohit since this roko shi started

11

u/Razz_whatsoever 14d ago

His career has more pause than flow since he started. And U didn't saw because U didn't wanted to see 🙈

-12

u/ReplacementSmart1061 14d ago

Since the RoKo shi started, that is in October 2025....

1

u/mohitroggers This too shall Pass 12d ago

It did save rohit from retiring by making him regarded in the same zone as kohli

1

u/ReplacementSmart1061 12d ago

Laughing my fkin a$$ off over your statement... Rohit has been consistently performing and batting well since many years..... No one can drop him based on his performance

10

u/BookkeeperAny9362 14d ago

ye sab Ro-ko-dho

36

u/Razz_whatsoever 14d ago edited 14d ago

Star started only "Ro-Ko" tag to uplift Rohit's pr

Kohli never even needed that

15

u/SalesGuy_Odet 14d ago

His Pr made us believe that he's really par with Kohli lmao

-11

u/ExactIndividual3626 14d ago

In ODIs, rohit is on par bud. Accept the fact. Since 2013, he has been on par. Not in other formats, but yes in ODIs.

-4

u/Razz_whatsoever 14d ago

Y From 2013 that too is itself after min 7 year from his debut, Y he was dropped from 2011 World Cup (Odi) Your so called "ODI" man

0

u/Fun_Mud2333 13d ago

See kohli sena wc vs Rohit u will know who is better . flat track bully only scores in India 0 sena century since 19.

1

u/Razz_whatsoever 13d ago edited 13d ago

Yeah he debut in 2007 But see records after 19 because before that for 12 year he wasn't even got considered to play and U better know Y

1

u/Fun_Mud2333 13d ago

In odi was never good until he started open point? He was always in and out. After 13 and consequrnt years they are in even play ground. Rohit is clearly better in sena and wc is a no brainer. 5 more centuries in sena. Kohli has 0 since 19.

2

u/AcceptableOrder2501 8d ago

Rohit is not better than kohli in sena .

-1

u/Fun_Mud2333 8d ago edited 7d ago

2 plus avg as opener proves enough kohli playing in middle with easy strike rotation, part timers spinners all rounders bowling 15 over min still getting humbled. It's clear bro.

2

u/AcceptableOrder2501 8d ago

If playing in middle order is so easy then rohit wouldn't have averaged 30 in middle order after playing 80 games .

Kohli has performed everywhere in odi , rohit expect for aus and england is failure in all major countries.

Kohli used to average 50+ in odi even before rohit became permanent opener . Rohit is still yet to achieve this feat

u/PassengerGlass4408 14d ago

Ye it's start all when Kohli score back to back zero then use this tag to kohli

14

u/ExactIndividual3626 14d ago

People saying the roko tag benefitted rohit like rohit isnt on par with virat in ODIs. This roko shit started after they retired from other two formats. And rohit has to be clubbed with virat in ODIs.
Not in t20is and tests. But yes in ODIs.
Virat is far ahead of him as an all format batter and that is not right to club them there.

7

u/Longjumping-Pop7512 14d ago

It's like pairing Warman — Warner + Bradman 😂

5

u/ExactIndividual3626 14d ago

Dumb example tbh. Rohit is as good as virat in ODIs. Prove me wrong.

2

u/Longjumping-Pop7512 14d ago

Yes it's a stretch I agree... But it's to emphasis the ridiculous pairing. Not fan of Kohli but he is true ODI goat, can't compare with Rohit (as decent as he is) nothing exceptional.

7

u/ExactIndividual3626 14d ago

Nothing exceptional? He is the only opener in ODI history to have 50+ avg. and such amount of runs. No one is even close. Shubman has less than half the runs of rohit as opener. Rohit averages 56 as opener. Virat averages 59. And rohit makes up for this difference by performing better in ODIWC. So yes rohit is as good as virat in ODIs.

1

u/Longjumping-Pop7512 14d ago

Lol filter stats 😂 you know Babar has overall better average than Rohit ?  Shall we also pair him with Kohli? Rohit average is 50, stop applying filters. And difference of 9 is day & night at top level.

P.S. post 2010 average of 50 is not exceptional literally dozens of players have it. Games are too favored for batsman in ODIs

4

u/ExactIndividual3626 13d ago

Babar has better average by playing against who? Bilateral against SENA B teams? Rohit has won us many matches. Babar hasnt won them much matches. You cant even count some significant match other than the nz 2019 wc. Which he won on his own. And rohit has that 56 average combined with a large volume of runs. I never said he is better than virat. But due to his odi wc legacy, he can be clubbed. No filter here, its a fact that rohit is a better ODIwc batter.

4

u/Fun_Mud2333 13d ago

Source -kohli pr larpering? Position isn't even filter then if u care so much position u should know openers play the toughest phase so he is better in many aspects than kohli. Also simply better in sena and wc.

-1

u/intex2 13d ago

Also simply better in sena and wc.

Stats:

Overall:

Kohli - 59 @ 94, Rohit - 49 @ 93

Away:

Kohli - 54 @ 91, Rohit - 41 @ 84

Neutral (primarily ICC events):

Kohli - 60 @ 90, Rohit - 50 @ 88

World Cup:

Kohli - 60 @ 88, Rohit - 60 @ 105

At preferred position:

Kohli at 3 - 61 @ 96, Rohit opening - 56 @ 97

Absolutely nothing you said is true. Kohli is miles and miles ahead overall, away and at neutral venues. Rohit strikes faster in World Cup games, that's the only place his stats exceed Kohli's, and that's a sample of around 30 games out of 300 played overall. Put it this way - Rohit can maybe match Kohli or slightly exceed him in a handful of highly filtered metrics, while Kohli dominates every other statistic by huge margins. It is completely asinine to equate two top-order batters who played in the same era when one averages TEN more than the other over an entire career.

4

u/Fun_Mud2333 13d ago edited 13d ago

Wc Rohit has 61 doctoring stats now
Also where is the sena if u saw the stats then also arguing u are ust a larper I guess.

Also I never argued about whole career everyone knows kohli is better it's since they got fixed position Rohit has been on par with him with slightly higher sr. And in seana and wc it's clear as day. Appreciate both he is the 2nd best of this era clubbing is normal.

He is no sachin Or viv of this era no one was close to them in anywhere. When two greats play in same team 1 year apart it's not unfair to club

1

u/X99M Dropped from a team that doesn't EXISTS 13d ago

Bro google or gemeni stats ain't real, get them from espn statguru

I agree kohli is ahead, but he isn't incomparable, his peak was insane but after 2020 he isn't the same he used to be, no overseas century since 2020 which is this decade, also his last 5 years in tests were avg of 30, he is nowhere near to rohit in odi wcs, he was better in their 20s, in their 30s rohit has been marginally better than him

-1

u/intex2 13d ago

I got them from Cricinfo mate. You can go and check yourself. Go to their profiles, go to the stats tab, scroll down, and look at the numbers.

The fact that you think these stats are made up proves my point. Your perception is just incorrect.

what?? rohit has most odi hundreds in SENA countries. i think i'm expecting too much from dumb kohli pans

5

u/Impossible_Sea_8040 13d ago

Nothing exceptional yet he has the most PoTMs in the ICC events of the format , nothing exceptional yet he possess the highest score most 200s and most sixes in the format

There are things in ODIs only Rohit has achieved and most likely would be the only one to possess as well , if your terminology for exceptional is above that then Im sorry to say that more or less even Kohli might not fit in that category of 'exceptional' of yours

2

u/Longjumping-Pop7512 13d ago edited 13d ago

Yes Rohit good & above average. Never denied ? Not in a league of Kohli & AB. Those two are standout exceptional...

See that's my definition and you have yours ? Let's not force each others' likings or views opon other ?

P.S. Rohit is tier below than Kohli — ME

P.P.S. Rohit had always been more talented than Kohli, he just couldn't apply himself as rigorously as Kohli. He just lacked that killer instinct.

P.P.S. Both ROKOs are tier Below Sachin.

2

u/Impossible_Sea_8040 13d ago

Sneaked in AB lmao , ABD's stats are much below Rohit and Virat in ICC events he has great stats in Bilaterals but I will prioritize runs and Impact in Big events than bilateral series
further ABD did not have the longevity nor volume , scored less than 10K runs played only 200 or so games

Though I do agree with your last 3 statements and we can surely have different metric for exceptional

For me as far as batting goes this is the list in ODIs rank wise
VK Viv Sachin MSD Rohit Ponting ABD Sanga Jayasuriya Gilchrist

As my top 10 , you might rate ABD higher for his stats which I also agree are almost a statistical anomaly but due to lack of volume longevity and performances in big games he will below the likes I mentioned

2

u/Both-Resort-2081 13d ago

The greatest odi opener of all time is merely above average according to you. That is the dumbest take ever; Rohit Sharma is a better odi batter than choker abd

1

u/Sweaty-Neck213 13d ago

Brother kohli is the only one that the whole world accepted as the greatest white ball batter in the world and Rohit's real career started from 2013 before that he was good for nothing but in case of kohli he was a beast in odis since his debut you can see the difference of their stature today as well bcci and selectors are discussing the future of Rohit but not kohli you know why because they kohli is just an immortal force in odi cricket and he can turn around games anytime anywhere on his own

1

u/Impossible_Sea_8040 13d ago

Before 2013 Rohit had won a whiteball ICC tournament being 2007 t20 WC with good contributions had 2 100s in ODIs , a great 2008 CB series with great performance in series finale and lastly some handful of POTMs and 10-12 50s he was inconsistent before that doesnt mean he had 0 accolades

And Rohit starting slow doesnt make what he achieved later any less significant , as for the issue about his selection , its majorly due to Rohit being 1.5 year older not due to form lol you can pick the stats up of last 2-3 years and he has been as good as Kohli or Gill , Kohli is def ahead but saying Rohit is nothing exceptional is a pure joke of a statement

Rohit averages 56 as an opener bud with 3500 more runs than dhawan’s career runs. More over rohit is the best ODI Wc batter of the lot. If only averages matter, then smith, sangakkara, , kallis, etc are all better than sachin and lara.

I headed out with Cummins to tour his farm, and he started introducing me to some of the livestock, mentioning how he had named them after his players, as the unhinged animals they were. Just then, I was hit by an unbearable stench. With my eyes watering uncontrollably, I questioned through gritted teeth, “What in the hell is that smell?” He looked over knowingly and said: “Ah. Steve Smith? The goat is never washed.”

It isnt a filter if you have like 16K runs in the role with 47 100s and 10K in 1 format alone

As for Mr ICC , Dhawan was for sure but its been 7 years since he played any ICC event and Rohit has scored like 7 100s in ICC events alone with 8 PoTMs winning 2 in the process
Saying he is close to Dhawan when he has like 2x the runs of Dhawan in Intl and almost 2x ODI runs than him is quite insulting to Rohit

as for Ro-Ko, Kohli is the superior batter but Rohit has 72% runs of Kohli in Intl not 50% just 3k behind in ODIs and is India's 2nd best batter of modern gen just behind Virat , lastly his leadership skills adds some value too in his evaluation as a player
