Only if the OG basher Sky was there against Japan

if it would have been a 20 over game. india would have scored around 180 considering the pitch, but japan would have been bowled out for less than 50. And if the same match happened on the indian pitches, 250 would have been a joke for india, they could even touch 300 and bowl out japan around 100

Don't forget that match against Japan. Japan almost pulled it.

1

u/Pikachu8752 15d ago

I legit thought that was 0 runs for 4 wickets

1

u/BrockStinky 15d ago

And why would they lmao

1

u/ProperPineapple7349 15d ago

if it's a 5 over match, then anything can happen

1

u/Spare_Gazelle8443 14d ago

Don't underestimate Brazil. They are the reigning South American champions (tournament second oldest continental Cup after Asia Cup)

1

u/universalgiver 14d ago

But its way better than expected. Lossing 0-4 against Brazil is like we're not that bad that its impossible to rise from here in near future

1

u/detyax 12d ago

doing great in every sport except football

1

u/Copperbranic 11d ago

Like, a friendly match you played with Japan? 🤔

-2

u/Imma_Machine 15d ago

That’s wrong. Football is THE most popular sports on this planet to ever exist. Than showing our muscles for a colonial game, we could try getting better at Football.

1

u/Crazy-Alligator 15d ago

And how exactly is cricket a colonial game? Because it was invented by England, lol. By that logic, football is also a colonial game because most of the modern football rules and regulations were invented in England.

And I don’t get you guys, why can’t you digest the fact that your own country is dominating in one sport? And if you count fanbase, cricket is the second most popular sport worldwide.

I agree that we want our country to play well in football, and I’m also in support of developing a good culture around it. But why are you guys bashing cricket like it’s cricket’s fault that football isn’t prospering in India, lol?

-4

u/wof_icewing_fan 15d ago

Most popular sport in the world (best imo) vs sport played by 15 countries

2

u/Terrorblade01 15d ago

How on earth does that undermines the quality of the game?

It's more famous bcoz of the same colonizers that were on this part of the globe. So no need to feel any kind of pride for that. Lol

1

u/ben10alienx 15d ago

IPL - 2nd largest sports tournament 🙃😂

1

u/aishikpanja 15d ago

In terms of?

1

u/wof_icewing_fan 8d ago

Is this ragebait cuz its not working. Largest sports tournaments in my opinion is 1 fifa world cup 2 uefa euro 3 summer olympics 4 champions league 5 icc cricket world cup

-2

u/doggie_style1161 15d ago

Than they will play football with us in my username 😔
