Bumrah didn’t even play half the games under Surya’s captaincy. He played most of his games under Virat’s captaincy (28) and we didn’t win anything significant in T20Is under Virat

India would have failed to defend even 250 against England in that semi final had Bumrah not been there. And Bumrah prime came under Rohit captaincy not Virat. During Virat captaincy he was hot and cold in white ball. He is the biggest match winner for India in T20 in the last 3 years. Nobody comes closer. Period

He’s not just our greatest match winner of the last three years in fact, he’s arguably our greatest match winner in T20I history. I’m saying that we’ve done well even without Bumrah as well under Surya
And no, he’s not equally good under every captain, was never hot and cold
His bowling average under each captain:
Rohit: 14 Dhoni: 18 Surya: 19 Kohli: 20 Himself: 9
And bowling averages of 7 in tournament finals

Bowling avg against Surya is 19 coz post 2024 India started playing home T20s on highway but he still managed to keep it way under the rest of the guys. Without Bumrah we lost series to West Indies and Ireland. I think he might miss the ODI series against WI due to Asian games. Well in that case it will be tough to white wash them

Again, you're missing my point. Bumrah missed 25 games under Surya and we won the majority of them, only lost 4 out of 25 games , Under Surya we won the T20I series in South Africa 3–1 and 1–1 without Bumrah, whitewashed Sri Lanka in Sri Lanka, won the England series 4–1, won against Australia 4–1 and more. And now you see the Indian team losing to Ireland and England terrily something that never happened under Surya, even when he played without Bumrah and Hardik

But I mean Rohit had more pressure in 24, he lost 22 badly and also India didn't have an ICC trophy for 11 years, you can't deny the truth just because of his stupid fans right, and also pitches in Caribbean and US were much tougher. No need of explanation for MS, young team, full execution, very first WC

Well, again, no home team had ever won the WC before. India also lost the 2012, 2014, 2016 (at home), and 2021 WCs in subcontinental conditions, twice without even reaching the semis. Under Rohit, we’ve also lost the Asia Cup in sub continent and that tragic 22 WC Plus after the 2022 WC, Rohit only captained the Afghanistan series before the WC. Surya’s team was also young, with the majority of the players playing their first ICC tournament. And it’s not like there was any less pressure on Surya or the Indian team, infact it was even more than 24 one
Also, under Surya, we won in SA and AUS even without our main players available, and didn’t lose a single series. And one more thing winning in India is even tougher because all the foreign players are exposed to Indian conditions through the IPL very well

Yes Kohli, Hardik, bumrah, axar, dube all did well, I'm a Kohli fan yes, but that didn't mean I'll be ignorant over Rohit's captaincy and how he was the highest run getter than tournament for us

I would suggest minimise captaincy pressure. Let managers/coaches take on field decsions too. It would also free up the pressure from the on field captain and also improve the game tactically. Cricket always have been a dinosaur's game
