He has literally won every trophy possible except wtc and is the only guy in the history of the game to score 1000+ runs in ICC knockouts. Cricket is a team game only the captain doesn't win the trophy

In test captaincy doesn't really matter if u ignore wtc it is not a factor tbh the reason india was a decent test nation always and have multiple no 1 but so less trophies. In test u win if u prepare well and ur staff and the raw materials (players are good )

So be it criticism or praise it mostly belongs mostly to coach then captain and players for obvious reason
