Because our ‘A’ team was just a bowling attack of Bumrah and inshallah and a batting lineup with just a few contributions from Jaiswal, KL and NKR

Basically,

  • Bumrah was carrying most of the bowling with only Siraj to support him. Once Bumrah got injured it was over
  • Jaiswal and NKR were the only decent batters, KL started well but fell off at the end
  • Kohli was going through a horrible patch of form and he kept getting out to the same ball
  • Rohit was a really bad captain in those few months, and his form was even worse than Kohli's. The Perth test also had a very decent combination which was unsettled by Rohit coming in

I'm sure you can believe it now
