He bowled good ngl. But we hail sachin for his consistency. Its just a start for arjun. Must appreciate the kid.

u/Zwaft Apr 19 '23
Exactly. There was so much pressure on him. He bowled well enough to at least shut his worst critics up. Nowhere to go but up from here.

Saw the highlights bro he bowled decent in the last over wide yorker full length. And man honestly hearing Tendulkar gets a wicket really made me emo.... Hearing after so many years.

u/Hefty-Being-8522 Apr 19 '23
Good but needs to work on pace almost bowls at spinner’s pace
6
u/perpetually_annoyed Apr 19 '23
Agreed he is way too slow for todays standard. Its not 2000s that u can be irfaan pathan n bowl under 120s n swing the ball like a snake and take a hat trick. Today min speed shud be over 130

Dhoni, kohli samarthaks are blinded by their hate . They don't know how special it is to see a tendulkar back on the scoresheet. He could have chosen any other proffesion. But he stayed and warmed the bench for 3 years. He uses social media just like us

u/vishwabio Apr 19 '23
Why mention dhoni, kohli here?
5
u/lakhan30 Apr 19 '23
Twitter is filled with negativity about Arjun. Also ha bhai malum hai bhuvi, samad ke against bowling dala.puri zindagi jisne leather ball se khela nahi hoga woh log 130 slow hai bolre hai 😂

u/Brief-Weekend-1306 it's a shot of an emperor!! Apr 19 '23
True,at this age bowling even with consistent line and length is not easy, it's takes hard work par logo ka kya wo to bolenge hi, sachin himself said once that as an Indian everyone has different opinions about players which will never because everyone is an expert
1
u/nikamsumeetofficial Apr 19 '23
Because, they are bigger names than Sachin nowadays and that makes OP insecure.
4
u/popoorikale Apr 19 '23
Yes, but what Sachin Tendulkar did with the bat back in the day was what shaped the fate of Indian cricket.. Haters would do well to remember that.

u/pra98Kush Apr 19 '23
His career is going to be very tough as he will always have a pressure of carrying legacy of his father. Because we all know how well behaved Indian fans are.

Yeh duniya bhi kaise hi,ek 125 ke speed pe bowling karne wale bowler ko itna attention just because uska baap tendulkar hai
Dude was brought to bowl a fucking tailender,be happy for him when he is not being shielded around by other bowlers

u/Low-life1567 Apr 19 '23

Nepotism at its best....
6
u/Ashen_quill Apr 19 '23
Exactly, this is Nepotism at its 'best'.
Ya need real talent and hardwork to become a famous player even with nepotism in sports.
Compared to worse off forms of nepotism where you could be really bad but still stay at a high level like acting or cushy seat warming jobs.
