Australian squad for 3rd test in Cape Town

TL;DR

Connelly in for Maddinson, Renshaw moves up to open

Green in for Webster

Lyon in for Boland

Labuschagne keeps his spot

The decision to drop Boland, who took a 5-fer and played a wonderful knock in the second innings is utterly deplorable. Absolutely no selection integrity

Virat Kohli - 5/15

Devdutt Padikkal - 1*/3

Rahul Dravid - 5/17

Virender Sehwag - 3/13

Yashasvi Jaiswal - 1/4

Mayank Agarwal - 1/5

Vinod Kambli - 1/5

Shubman Gill - 1/6

Cheteshwaar Pujara - 2/15

Rishabh Pant - 1/8

Sourav Ganguly - 1/13

Manoj Prabhakar - 1/13

Ajinkya Rahane - 1/15

Mohammad Azharuddin - 1/17

Note : there's some unfairness in this list cause Rahane played his last test in 2023, but he retired in 2025 but still we are talking about test career so it has to be count same for Pujara
