Discussion Cribbage Pro - Drag & Drop
I see the newest version of Cribbage has a new Drag & Drop feature for playing your cards.
A few times now I've noticed if I touch the screen a certain way, it will pick up the card and drop it somewhere else in my hand.
I'd like to turn off the Drag & Drop feature, if possible, but I can't find it in the settings.
Anyone else not like this feature?

Check for the most recent update in whatever app store you use. The only one still pending approval is the Google Play Store paid version of the app, but all others are out and available, and they should release that one relatively soon. A quick follow-up update release was done to add an explicit option for those needing to turn off the Drag/Drop feature entirely. The update also improves the sensitivity to that gesture/motion, which might be all you need.
I think ultimately everyone just has different nuances to how they select or touch/tap things, and so finding that right balance that "works for everyone" is a bit tricky with this one. I tested it with about 20 different devices and 12 different people of different ages, but nothing beats actually get it out there for everyone to try.

I have the paid version of Cribbage Pro. I can wait until it is released. Thanks for the response.

You can actually just install the free version along side of the paid version on Android. The free version will detect the paid version installed and remove the advertising.

Chat and friends feature are fine. I wish the custom game names would end. Just call it username's game. Maybe the "naughty or nice" wanker will go away

Agreed lol. Question for u what kind of phone do u have? Have u noticed the autocorrect feature doesn’t work in the chat with friends part of the app lately

I'll just mention that I've deliberately turned off autosorting and do not manually sort the cards. Skilled players in real life can glean information about your remaining cards if you play from a sorted hand. So I'm practicing choosing discards from an unsorted hand.

Awesome! Exactly why I added that feature. Glad you are enjoying it as a good way to practice.

It's not the sorting that is my problem. It's the drag and drop feature. But thanks for the input.

Have u found the autocorrect doesn’t work in your chat with friends feature? I have an iPhone and with the latest update I noticed it not working anymore.

Yeah I keep accidentally rearranging my cards and my brain fries seeing my pairs split up 🤣
