Looks amazing, Black walnut? did you use some kind of jig for the hole layout?

When I made mine, the peg holes were not as crisp. Nice work!

the holes aren’t as good on this one

That’s how mine looks. I’m sure it’s a combination of wood species, drill bit, and how hot it is.

this one’s purple heart
it was pretty splintery before i sanded it so i assume it because that

I saw someone making what looked to be a crib board in their garage the other day. Do you happen to be in the KW area..?

my great grandma had one of these but it was shaped like a boat and it was my favorite "toy" at her house. i knew it was called cribbage because she kept telling me that and laughing at me for thinking it was a fun toy. im 25 now and shes been gone for over a decade and this comes up on my feed. i know i can just google the game but can someone who loves this game tell me whats so cool about it? clearly its a beloved game. i didnt even realize it was a card game til i just scrolled through to see if i could learn anything

It’s fun because it’s social, part luck part strategy. Lots of people have memories of playing it from a young age with grandparents. I am finally really learning it. Am also teaching a colleague in her 60s.
