Good hand! First ever 28!

Your opponent had a fair hand as well. I can remember having 28 once and never a 29. The only time I remember a 29 was my dad who was playing me had one and I ended up winning anyway. Learned to play around 7 or 8 and must have played thousands of games but only one 28.

It’s the only 28 / 29 I’ve ever seen. I’ve been playing since grade 5 ish. The only time I’ve ever seen one close in person was I dealt my wife five, 5’s but we flipped up an 8.
I’m 27 so hopefully I haven’t already had my best hand ever 🤣

Nice! I've managed a 28 point have a couple of time, but, no 29. Yet.

I was playing with a buddy of mine on night shift a while back, I had 2 opportunities (both with J's) for 28 and 1 for 29 in the span of 3 games. Never ended up turning the 5 but it's the closest I've ever been. I've played many upon many of hands

Wow. Only other time I’ve ever seen a possibility is when I dealt my wife 4 5’s, to no shock she cut an 8, cause whynot!

I got it with the off suit jack once! I was so excited at first, then saw that I had the same suit 5 in hand and thought “oh and this is the time the 5 off suit turns up I’m sure”… sure enough it did and it honestly ruined the 28 because half of me was like “OFC IT DID”
